David has been a Director of the General Partner since 2021 and recently assumed the role of Chair.
David is a consultant and trusted advisor to a wide range of clients on private equity and impact investments. He works with long-term trusts, family offices, wealth managers, private equity funds, and private investors, providing support for the complex processes of assessing, accessing, and managing investment portfolios.
David studied Engineering and Management and is a graduate of Massey University and AGSM University of NSW.
David’s early career included senior management and CEO roles in a variety of businesses, including a role as Private Equity portfolio manager with The Guardians of NZ Superannuation.
He has a special interest in the practical application of “ESG” and responsible investment governance and on the opportunities in New Zealand for environmental and social impact investment.
