The Operating Principles for Impact Management (Impact Principles) is hosted by the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), the leading industry body for Impact Investing globally.
The Impact Principles help investors ensure that impact is integrated throughout the investment life cycle, including:
- Strategic Intent
- Origination and Structuring
- Portfolio Management
- Impact at Exit
- Independent Verification
In 2023, as a natural step in the continual pursuit of best practice, Purpose Capital Limited became a signatory to the Impact Principles. As of July 2024, Purpose Capital is the only signatory in New Zealand.
One year after signing, as is required, Purpose Capital has published a disclosure statement outlining how Purpose Capital’s practices align with the Impact Principles.
The report is publicly available to view or download here.
